About Our Yarrow Essential Oil From Bulgaria

This new, ultra blue Yarrow essential oil is from the celebrated ‘Pro A’ variety which reaches up to 39% chamazulene content. Accordingly, the oil is an almost incredibly radiant azure blue, and is almost legendary in its ability to reduce inflammation – especially associated with rheumatoid arthritis, carpal tunnel, muscle and nerve pain.
It is an exceptional addition to skin care products aimed at healing inflamed, allergic or irritated dermal tissue. In addition to chamazulene, Yarrow oil contains other valuable sesquiterpene molecules such as germacrene D and caryophyllene. Caryophyllene is known to interact with the CBD receptor and offers potential for anti-anxiety and antidepressant activity.

Aromatic Notes

Sweet, fresh, green-herbaceous, with a woody, somewhat camphoraceous note. Slightly more herbacous then our Bavarian variety.

Direction For Use

Topical use: apply topically diluted in a carrier oil or undiluted

Oral use: dilute 1-2 drops in a glass of water. You can add 1 drop to a tablespoon of olive oil or a piece of bread. You can make your own capsule by adding 1 drop to your desired carrier oil.

Inhalation: diffuse or inhale

Other uses: used for creating blends, suppositories
