About Our Organic Thyme Sutureioides Essential Oil

Viral infections, especially the currently prominent variants, chronic virosis, whooping cough, liver deficiency.

This essential oil also rebalances elevated gamma globulin levels accompanying chronic infections. Franchomme, et al., report the oil’s efficacy on the pain and inflammation of arthritis and rheumatism. Stimulates the nervous and the immune systems and counteracts general and chronic fatigue.

In some texts Thyme satureioides is referred to as Moroccan Thyme and in others as Thyme borneol – so named after its characteristically high (30%) borneol content. Relatively high concentrations of borneol may solidify in this oil and sink to the bottom of the container in the shape of crystalline white needles. To bring the oil back to a homogeneous consistency it must be warmed to 30-35 degrees C (85-95 degrees F). It will take a moment for the oil to become fully liquid again.
