In 1983, OSA began as a company exclusively dedicated to aromatherapy and the beauty and superiority of truly unadulterated authentic essential oils. Then, as now, we believe paying a little more for a smaller quantity of an authentic oil is a much better deal than buying cheap or cleverly diluted product. We have only on objective: Offer genuine and authentic essential oils. We maintain that knowing the producer is the best safeguard against adulteration. We also analyze our essential oils by GC/MS, but we know that analysis alone has not kept adulterated oils out of aromatherapy. To the contrary, analysis hype is often used to sell cleverly adulterated oils and justify homogenization. We use analysis to discover the variations arising from growing regions and to confirm the fingerprint of our trusted distillers. |

Origin Matters
Oils are chosen to represent the highest form of authenticity. They are distilled from plants of a single specified botanical species growing in a single specific geographical origin. As we offer our oils exactly as they come to us from wherever their specific origin may be, they remain bio-authentic representations of the plant populations of their specific biosphere.
