About Our Organic Red Mandarin Essential Oil
Mandarin fruits, and citrus peels in general, loose their coumarin content as they ripen and turn red. As coumarins are responsible for potential undesirable photosensitizing effects, this Mandarin essential oil from mature red peels is not photosensitizing. The oil is appropriately bright, fresh, and has a most soothing and calming fragrance. Ideal for children.
Aromatic Notes
Smooth, sweet-tart citrus aroma, very typical for Mandarin with a slight floral touch.
Direction For Use
Topical use: apply topically diluted in a carrier oil or undiluted.
Inhalation: diffuse or inhale.
Other uses: great addition to making your own blends.
