Strongly antiinflammative and calming, panccreatic support, tachycardia, hypertension, asthma - prevention, rheumatism
Lemon Verbena is an oil for modern times. It is extraordinarily complex and it is mostly used to ease anxiety, nervousness, and confusion, melancholy and depression. It has also been used successfully in Germany to treat symptoms of MS. French aromatherapy literature mentions its use as an anti-inflammatory and a sedative, also offering support for thyroid and pancreatic functions. It has a radiant, optimistic and delightful character – in part, due to the citral content – and is among the most universally appreciated fragrances. More information can be found in a recent Roots of Aromatherapy post. Caution: Mildly photosensitizing.
Application: Topical, Oral, Inhalation
