More than French Style Aromatherapy

Unlike other works this Course does not present a singular version of aromatherapy somehow stating:
“This is how it is done.”

Instead it covers the development of aromatherapy over the last 30 years. The way in which medicinal and aromatic plants are understood has changed over this period of time and the narrative of French Style aromatherapy has been complemented by the more contemporary viewpoints of molecular, cellular and evolutionary Biology.

Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy and Original Swiss Aromatics were founded by Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt in 1983, joined by Monika Haas in 1988 and Julien Juillerat in 2012.

OSA was one of the very first Aromatherapy companies in the US and until this day has maintained the highest standard in its variety of over 200 different essential oils. We not only work with essential oils, we live an aromatherapy lifestyle.

THE PIA EDUCATION SYSTEM

The revised 4th Edition is intended for the student intent on learning the latest developments in essential oils. The goal is to become deeply familiar with genuine and authentic essential oils so the student is empowered to create the most effective therapeutic formulae.

While the 3rd Edition, also known as the Classic Aromatherapy Correspondence Course, represents the English-language foundation of French Style aromatherapy, our 4th Edition Course integrates explanations beyond chemical structures and components found in the works of pioneers such as M. Gattefossé’s Aromathérapie: Les Huiles essentielles hormones végétales and The Practice of Aromatherapy by Dr. Jean Valnet.

The Classic Aromatherapy Correspondence Course is available as well as the supplemental Masters Series and Plant Language Courses. Conference Proceedings from our Scientific Wholistic Aromatherapy Conferences since 1995 are available for purchase.
