According to Daniel Pénoël and Pierre Franchomme this oil is effective against Chlamydia, HPV and condyloma. However care has to be taken because the oil is skin irritant.  It needs to be blended with other oils to become tolerable on the mucous membranes. Applications for such conditions as HPV have remained controversial for this reason.
