About Our Lemon Verbena Essential Oil

Lemon verbena has one of the most delightful, radiant and vibrant aromas in Aromatherapy and is a perfect oil for modern times. Its special character arises from a very gentle combination of citral aldehydes.

While the gentleness is the key factor, the fragrance itself has inspired great aromatherapy minds to describe Lemon Verbena as akin to happy memories that engender faith and hope for the future. According to French authors it combats gloom and melancholy, sorrow and depression and especially anxiety. It is perfect to use in the diffuser, for creating massage blends, add to lotions and body mists.

Caution: Mildly photosensitizing.

Aromatic Notes

Somewhat fruity, herbaceous, and bright, sweet-tart, lemony aroma with fresh green, crisp citrus like and light floral notes

Direction For Use

Topical use: apply topically diluted in a carrier oil.

Oral use: dilute 1-2 drops in a glass of water. You can add 1 drop to a tablespoon of olive oil or a piece of bread. You can make your own capsule by adding 1 drop to your desired carrier oil.

Inhalation: diffuse or inhale.

Other uses: great addition to blends.
